3D GENERALIST

DESCRIPTION:
- Mid-level experience in 3Ds Max modelling, animation ,lighting, texturing, and rendering in Arnold/vray/corona
- Good Understanding of particles and simulations is a must
- Should have a good knowledge of compositing in After effects / Nuke
- Beginner level experience in AutoCAD with a basic understanding of drawings
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Excellent work ethics
- Rises to the occasion
- Knowledge of multimedia and/or graphics software, is an added advantage
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Technical Skills: 3D Modelling/Detailing, 3D Spatial awareness, Mechanical aptitude required
- Soft Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, spatial awareness and attention to detail. Ability to look up and understand technical data. Critical thinking and strong reasoning skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Stays Current with technical trends and is ready to adopt new technology.
- Open attitude towards learning new software and techniques beyond modelling in 3ds Max, such as emulation software, photo and video editing software, and 3d animation.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- Certification in 3D education across multiple areas of study with a focus on tools, processes, and workflow is an added advantage.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing renders of systems to be used as Human Machine Interface (HMI).
- Manipulating or Editing models from other 3d software’s such as Solid works or Google Sketch Up, etc. in 3ds Max.
- Utilizing model, material, texture libraries for repeat equipment across various clients. Adds to model, material, and texture libraries when new equipment is created.
- Managing all revisions to models and renders made throughout the life of the project.
- Creating models in reference to photographs, images, video, screenshots, and/or .dwgs.
- Logging time daily and daily communication with the manager and team.
WORK SAMPLES
- Portfolio of work samples demonstrating modelling, lighting, and rendering skills in 3ds Max and Arnold/vray/corona/ is required.
- Submissions without a portfolio link or samples will not be considered.
