Director - Sales

DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for driving sales and scale revenue for CYLNDR INDIA while working closely with the Business Head. We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Sales to play a pivotal role within the CYLNDR India growth team. This individual should have background in sales with experience in content creation and content production. The Sales Head will need to have a deep understanding of all CYLNDR’s capabilities and always be at the forefront of the latest offerings we are developing. 
This key role will drive sales, responding to ad hoc requests for content, building and establishing client / procurement relationships. Driving profitable growth is the core objective, so knowledge of the industry with an insatiable curiosity and excitement for market trends is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage go to market initiatives towards selling CYLNDR’s offerings to Brands, Advertising agencies and managing sales activities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve production hub’s goal
  • Identify and pursue new production and post production related business opportunities to expand the market presence
  • Set targets for the sales team and monitor performance to ensure they achieve their goals. Manage, mentor and develop the sales team members
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Oversee talent acquisition, development and retention to build a high -performing team
  • Run projects with the team from Planning, briefing, presentation to client and co-ordination with the creative/production teams
  • Ability and experience managing senior leadership internally and externally
  • Responsible for monthly / quarterly / annual sales target
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships and ensure high level of client satisfaction
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A graduate professional (MBA preferred)
  • 8-10 years of must have experience in production and post production industry
  • Should have good understanding of the Advertising Business either working with or engaging with known brands, advertising agencies, digital agencies, production houses
  • Strong connect with Brands & Advertising agencies
  • Track record of handling big ticket projects and ability to close complex deals
  • Strong process/project management skills with the ability to manage and multitask at any given point in time.
  • Proven track record of managing all scale of projects with deep client relationship
  • Successful track record of having managed clients, leading a team, achieving Sales targets and delivering growth in this sector
  • Exceptionally strong communication, engagement, presentation skills
  • Highly organised, motivated and able to multi-task
